Festivals build bonding and cohesiveness among one and all. Of all celebrations, children connect best with birthday celebrations; may it be their own or any other cartoon character or their friend Ganesha. On 9th September students of Pre-primary didn’t miss a chance to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. They started with a beautiful song followed by making clay idols of Ganesh and Modak, the favourite dish of Ganesh. They had fun using a variety of doughs (play dough, wheat and maida dough) to make the idol of Ganesh and Modak. As the festival was being celebrated the next day, children were excited to keep their idol and Modak for the puja.
