Sankranti Bliss at School
On January 9th, 2024, the school premises were adorned with delightful sights as students and teachers from Grades I to IV
donned Indian attire to celebrate the Sankranti festival. The festive spirit was evident as Grades I and II students engaged in activities such as kite making and expressing their wishes, accompanied by an explanation of the
festival’s significance. Meanwhile, Grades III and IV students were organized into different zones representing various Indian states. They explored and discussed the diverse ways Sankranti is celebrated across the country and marked the locations on the India map. The day
concluded with collaborative kite-making and the sharing of wishes, adding an extraordinary touch to the morning festivities. The celebration not only immersed the students in the joy of Sankranti but also provided a rich cultural learning experience.
