On 9th August, as a part of the ongoing unit “Press it and Click it” children of Jr.KG got a chance to explore the working of a microwave through a live demonstration by one of the parents who volunteered to bake cakes. The process of making the cake, the bowls specifically used in the microwave, the safety gloves, the use of a timer, the microwave as an electric appliance, precautions and age-appropriate safety were discussed during this time. The children showed a lot of curiosity and enjoyed the process thoroughly.
