On 7th January, 2025, Grade II students embarked on an insightful field trip to a nearby cotton spinning plant. This visit provided them with a hands-on understanding of how cotton is transformed into yarn, an essential part of the textile industry.
The young learners observed key processes such as ginning, where raw cotton is cleaned; carding, which aligns fibers into strands; and spinning, where strands are converted into yarn using high-speed machines. The experience was both engaging and educational, sparking curiosity and deepening their awareness of the textile business.
Through this enriching journey, students not only gained valuable knowledge but also developed a greater appreciation for the effort and skill involved in creating everyday products. The trip also emphasized the importance of using natural resources responsibly, leaving a lasting impression on their young minds.
