Pre-primary children celebrated Makar Sankranti on 7th January, 2022. A virtual session was conducted to celebrate the festival and to enable the children to understand the importance of how and why the festival is celebrated. This helped them appreciate the traditions associated with it. The harvest festival was introduced to children through a story which highlighted the significance of the festival. Children enjoyed drawing and colouring as well as making kites using colour papers. They watched stories of how the festival is celebrated in different parts of the country and had lots of fun. Children looked adorable as they came dressed in their traditional attire.
