The students of Grade V were all geared up to discover the Architect in them! They narrated their journey through their first Inquiry: What does it take to make or break a shelter? In this process, the students collaborated in groups which helped them enhance their communication skills, teamwork and creativity skills. They came across the various facets of construction including the 4 M’s of construction
They presented their work to their parents on 7th August, 2021. The students showed the model shelters that were designed by them to overcome the various climatic conditions and problem situations given to them. They integrated this with ICT and created flyers of their models which helped them sharpen their ICT skills. These were compiled into a flipbook.
The presence of special guests from the architectural fields made the presentation more interesting. They enlightened the students by giving their valuable inputs on the model shelters made by the students.
