On February 6th, an enlightening road safety session titled ‘Traffic Awareness Program’ was conducted for the students of Grades IV and V. The session, led by guest speaker ACP K. Venkat Reddy, in collaboration with SSGI Dr. Sailesh Sampathy and Smt. S. Aarathy, aimed to educate students about the importance of adhering to road safety rules. During the session, students learned about the significance of following road safety regulations and the role of helmets and seat belts in protecting them from potential injuries. The speakers also highlighted the dangers of speeding and distractions such as using phones or headphones on the road, emphasizing how these actions can lead to accidents. Real-life examples were shared to illustrate the life-saving impact of helmets, capturing the attention and interest of the students. Engaging activities kept the students actively involved throughout the session. Inspired by the knowledge gained, the students pledged to share their newfound awareness with their peers, family, and community members.
