“I tried counting the sheep to fall asleep, but that got boring. So, I started talking to the shepherd instead.” On this funny note, Grade III started to count on the number line on 4th April 2022. Each child used his/her strategy for counting. The activity kickstarted with children finding single-digit numbers then moved on to two and three-digit numbers using different counting strategies. Students wore their blue thinking hats to focus and manage their thinking process, and plan their next steps. It was indeed a great way to strategize counting.
