On July 3rd, Grades 1 and 2 transformed into manners masters. They learned the art of mindful walking, strolling in pairs, and forming respectful lines. They greeted everyone with a friendly “Namaste” and sprinkled “please” and “thank you” throughout their journey. They even showed kindness with apologies when needed.
But the learning didn’t stop there! Napkin etiquette became another fun skill. Each child proudly carried their named napkin, unfolding it neatly under their plate at the table. They practiced mindful eating, taking their time to avoid any messy spills. After meals, with practiced precision, they folded their napkins, disposed of crumbs, and tucked them safely back into their bags. It was a day filled with learning valuable social skills, all while having a blast.
