“Pre-primary students had a great time seeing their teachers enact and perform for them. On 3rd January 2022, another new unit of learning, Animal Rescuers was introduced with the Entry Point where the teachers performed a skit on animal rescue to make children understand the importance of animals and more so to protect and rescue them. It was a recorded video shown on both online and offline platforms. The skit was about Mowgli, a man boy who grew up with animals in a forest. The story was taken from the famous book “”The Jungle Book””. Our little learners related well with the story and they could easily guess that this unit was going to be all about animals. After they watched the recorded video of the skit, they were left with enquiry questions which left them pondering upon how or what they would do to protect and rescue the animals.”
