Children of Sr KG enjoyed a special time during lunch on 31st July, as their mentors started the inquiry of the new unit of learning “Journey of a seed”. It was interesting to ask children about the food items served on their plates. Teachers showed children the raw appearance of the different food items they were eating. Children were enthusiastic to see and explore vegetables, fruits, pulses and grains. It was interesting to see children identify various types of food, how and from where they get it. The entry point ended with the thought of why food items look and taste different.
