On Thursday, 30th March, a special assembly presentation on Ugadi was organized by the Telugu Department and a group of students. The assembly focused on the importance of Ugadi, discussed the meaning of the festival and how it is celebrated in different parts of India. Students presented the importance of the festival in the form of a skit followed by Panchanga Sravanam. It was an occasion for all of us to learn and remember. The constant mention of the Ugadi Pachadi and the various ingredients that go into making it, reminded us of the various facets of life and to prepare ourselves for the year ahead.
