Legend has it that Allison, who lived in Pennsylvania, believed that every year on July 29 it would rain without fail. He declared July 29 to be celebrated as ‘Rain Day’ every year and it really rains every year on the same day, without failing his belief and observation. There can be no life without rain and also no day without learning at Suchitra Academy. Grabbing this opportunity, NCC Senior and Junior cadets celebrated ‘Rain Day’ and learnt about harvesting pits. They learnt and also made a harvesting pit which is the best way of collecting, filtering and recharging ground water. A small step towards conserving nature and securing our future!
