On 29th January 2025, Grade VI students showcased their understanding of food safety and hygiene, drawing insights from their visit to the school kitchen. Their presentation emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean and safe culinary environment. During their visit, students observed key hygiene practices, including regular cleaning and sanitization of kitchen surfaces, proper labeling and storage of ingredients at appropriate temperatures, and essential hygiene protocols followed by the kitchen staff, such as proper dishwashing techniques and appropriate attire. This hands-on experience reinforced their classroom discussions, highlighting the critical role of food hygiene in preventing contamination and ensuring safety. The assembly served as an important reminder that by practicing proper hygiene, students can contribute to a healthier and safer dining experience for all.
