On 28th August, Dr. C.K. Raju’s workshop for Grade VII students offered a fresh perspective on timekeeping and astronomy. The session challenged traditional views on angles, constellations, and the zodiac, introducing scientific and mathematical interpretations that were both enlightening and thought-provoking. Notably, Raju redefined angles beyond the static Euclidean model and highlighted the precision of the Indian calendar system over the Roman calendar. The workshop promoted critical thinking and emphasized the importance of questioning established beliefs, providing students with valuable insights into the evolving nature of knowledge.
