On January 27th, 2024, Grade XI students embarked on a delightful exploration of the art and history of chocolate in a workshop that transcended time and tantalized the taste buds. Led by maestros from the Culinary Arts Academy in Switzerland, the workshop provided an immersive experience in the ancient alchemy of chocolate production, delving into its rich history dating back 4000 years. As students delved into the workshop, they discovered the intricate process of extracting flavours from cocoa beans and gained insights into the diverse cocoa content, savouring the velvety embrace of milk chocolate. Each bite became a poetic journey, transforming the workshop into a delectable adventure guided by culinary virtuosos. The rare opportunity to interact with these culinary maestros enriched the students’ understanding of the craftsmanship behind chocolate mastery.
