In the IEYC unit – “Animals our Friends’’, children of Jr. KG are learning about farms and pet animals. On Wednesday, 27th September children were introduced to the farm animal – cow. Children learned about the physical appearance, sounds they make, colour of the animal, food they eat, shelter, and their young ones. Milk is an important product given by a cow, an activity on how milking is done was demonstrated by the teachers. Later, children were allowed to explore the milking process with their hands. The curiosity and enthusiasm of the children had no bounds while doing the activity.
