On January 27th, Grade IV students eagerly engaged in a subject enrichment activity focused on exploring patterns in leaves as a part of their Project-Based Learning (PBL) curriculum. Enthusiastically, they collected varioustypes of leavesfrom different plants and collaboratively created a vibrant chart within the classroom. With meticulous attention to detail, the students labelled the distinct shapes and veins present on the leaves showcased on the chart. They were intrigued to discover the unique vein patterns across different leaves, leading to an enriching discussion on the diversecharacteristics
of plant leaves. Through this hands-on activity, students not only identified and appreciated the intricate patterns in leaves but also gained a deeper understanding of the fascinating diversity within the plant kingdom.
