On 27th January, children of Grade I were introduced to captions and fact files. They drew pictures for various captions and vice versa. A caption is a title or brief explanation accompanying an illustration, cartoon or poster. Children also created fact files about Barn Owl/ Emperor Penguin. A fact file is a short report of the most important information on a particular topic. Fact files are a great resource as they are a quick way to give information. Children participated with great enthusiasm and creativity.
