Suchitra Academy proudly completed its first international exchange program of Chitrakatha 3.0 in collaboration with our Latvian counterparts on 27th January. This unique film exchange provided students from India and Latvia a platform to showcase their creative storytelling through cinema, fostering a deeper cultural and artistic understanding. During the event, students presented their films online, exploring thought-provoking themes such as Humanity and Technology, Can AI Replace
Teachers? Silent Cinema Revival, Unheard Voices, and One Film, Many Cultures. Each film was a testament to their dedication, with students taking charge of scriptwriting, directing, and editing under the expert guidance of their subject mentors. The exchange was an enriching experience, allowing young filmmakers to gain valuable insights into diverse storytelling techniques, filmmaking styles, and cultural narratives. The discussions that followed each screening highlighted the power of cinema in bridging cultures and sparking meaningful conversations.
As Chitrakatha 3.0 concludes on a high note, we look forward to more such inspiring collaborations that encourage creativity, global exchange, and a passion for filmmaking among our students. Stay tuned for many more exciting international initiatives ahead!
