On November 26th, our Stage 4 learners embarked on an exhilarating educational field trip to Do Science Park, situated in Sanjeeviah Park, Hyderabad. This hands-on excursion provided an extraordinary opportunity for students to engage with science in an interactive and immersive environment.
During their visit, the students explored a range of captivating exhibits. They interacted with the Double-Edge Cone, which effectively demonstrated the principle of the center of mass, and the Dynamo Cycle, where they witnessed the fascinating transformation of mechanical energy into electrical energy. The Pendulum exhibit highlighted the concept of periodic motion, while the Chair of Nails showcased the principle of pressure distribution.
Additionally, students delved into mechanical systems, such as various types of pulleys and levers, gaining valuable insights into mechanical advantage. The Mobius Strip intrigued them with its distinctive properties of having only one side and one edge. Dynamic setups allowed learners to experience firsthand the concepts of forces, including centripetal and centrifugal forces, through rolling balls and interactive displays.
This enriching experience not only sparked curiosity but also significantly deepened their understanding of fundamental scientific principles, empowering the learners to explore the world of science in an engaging and meaningful way.
