On 26th June, Cambridge proudly hosted the Hindi Literature Festival
Competition, where each stage embraced a unique theme. Students
participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their linguistic talent,
imagination, and confidence.
Stages 3 & 4 – मुहावर ों की दनिया:
Students delved into the rich world of Hindi idioms by crafting short stories based on given मुहावरे and presenting them with lively expression.
Stages 5, 6 & 7 – कनवता पाठ प्रनतय निता: “नवश्व इनतहास के िायक ों की िाथा”
In a spirited blend of poetry and history, students recited poems celebrating iconic global figures—
leaders, scientists, artists, and reformers—bringing their stories to life through heartfelt performances.
Stages 8 & 9 – Lost in Translation: Translating Hindi to English
Students took on the creative challenge of translating literary and cultural passages from Hindi to English,
skillfully maintaining the original tone, meaning, and style. The competition beautifully highlighted students’ creativity and command of language. Congratulations and best wishes to all participants!
