We are thrilled to share the wonderful success of the Cambridge Literature Fest “Wordsmith”, an event
that showcased our students’ creativity, language skills, and love for expression. Learners from Stages 3
to 9 participated with great enthusiasm in a series of activities designed to strengthen their confidence
and competence in French.
Stage 3–4: Story Sequencing – Put the Story Together!
Students arranged jumbled story pictures or sentences in the correct order and then wrote or narrated the story in French.
Stage 5–7: Décris l’Image! – Describe the Picture.Students observed a scene and described it using short, meaningful sentences in French.
Stage 8–9: Lost in Translation – French to English
Students translated a short French passage into clear, fluent English while carefully preserving its tone and meaning.
