We are ready to make a recipe with the given instructions but where do I find that recipe in the cookbook, if it was the only option available? This was the problem given to students of Grade -III on 26th August 2021. Students were introduced to the concept of ‘Contents’ and ‘Index’ and were given a chance to explore the same in the set of non-fiction books available with them. They were also able to record the similarities and differences between the Contents and Index. Later, they could explain that content pages guide to large topics, but index pages help find smaller pieces of information.
