What’s your height? How long is your textbook? What’s the size of your rice grain? Students were encouraged to think of the different ways of measuring each of them. On 24th January 2022, students of Grade III tickled their brains and measured them using building blocks, lego blocks and many other things. When students discussed the same with their peers, they found out that each of them had a different answer for the same thing, and then they arrived at the point of using standard units for measurement. The activity was thought-provoking and students enjoyed doing it. It was a great start to learning about the standard units of measurement.
