Children often see adults exchange coins and bills when they buy things. As children grow and start to make choices, they learn that people, things, and money have value. On 24 January 2022, students of Grade I visited a virtual grocery store and bought things. This activity helped children identify the prices listed, how to handle money and compare the prices of different objects. Also, they learned to use different combinations of coins and bills for various denominations of currency. The children thoroughly enjoyed this shopping activity and were so hooked on to it.
