On 24th August, Grade VI students presented an engaging inquiry-based project focused on the theme, “How can citizens promote accountability and inclusivity in government?” The project delved into the complexities of rural and urban governance, and the importance of diversity, and featured a thought-provoking debate on the government’s responsibility for ensuring citizen compliance with laws and policies.The debate showcased the students’ ability to present well-reasoned arguments and engage in meaningful discussions. Parents also contributed valuable insights, enhancing the students’ understanding of civic duty and the role of citizens in holding the government accountable.This project not only enriched the students’ knowledge of government systems but also honed their debating skills, fostering a deeper appreciation for the critical role citizens play in building a just and inclusive society.
