On the early hours of 23rd June few students of Grade IX visited the lake Venellagadda to survey the ongoing development taking place for the beautification and cleaning of the lake. The students interacted with a GHMC official supervising the whole process. The cleaning of the lake became possible only after the numerous mails written to GHMC by the students. A few migratory birds, which seemed to be encouraging our efforts, were observed and we hope we will see more of them once our dream of restoring the lake is realized. We are glad that our aim to clean the lake has taken one step forward towards reality.
