On 22nd January 2025, Stage 3 learners at Suchitra Academy embarked on an exciting journey into the world of programming and robotics. Through lively discussions and hands-on activities, they discovered how computers control machines and devices, from robots and traffic lights to washing machines and space rovers.
The highlight of the day was a “Human-Robot Simulation” activity, where learners worked in pairs—one as the “robot” and the other as the “programmer.” Using instruction cards like “move forward” and “turn left,” they navigated the robot to a specific destination, emphasizing the importance of precise commands, sequencing, and debugging.
The classroom buzzed with energy as learners collaborated, refined their instructions, and celebrated successful missions. “It was so fun to be the robot! I learned how important clear instructions are,” said Aarav Shah, Stage 3B.This engaging experience sparked curiosity and problem-solving skills, laying a strong foundation for future technological explorations.
