Learners of Stage 1 had great time learning about money with a hands-on activity on 21st January, 2022. A shop was set up in the online class and learners were invited in a pair to buy items in exchange for money. Each student bought an item with a price tag and the partner had to recognize the amount it cost. Then they matched the coins/notes to the corresponding value of the item. This activity helped them to recognize the currency used in their country, understand the value of money and how they could create the same amount of money using different combinations of coins and notes.
