In line with their Project-Based Learning (PBL) objectives and the intriguing inquiry, ‘How do we not become couch potatoes at our age?’ Grade IV students embarked on a fulfilling field trip to a local farm on December 21st. The excursion provided an immersive experience into diverse flora and fauna, featuring a nature walk that allowed students to connect with the farm’s natural beauty. The day unfolded with hands-on activities, enabling them to explore different types of trees and cultivate a deeper understanding of agriculture. Infusing an extra layer of fun, students engaged in various games, adding an element of enjoyment to their educational adventure. The trip’s overarching theme underscored the importance of staying active and fostering an appreciation for the environment, encouraging students to embrace a healthy lifestyle.
