On 21st April, Ms. Shivani , our Cambridge Head, facilitated a thought-provoking session focused on reviewing and enhancing lesson planning in preparation for the upcoming academic year. The session opened with individual reflection, where educators critically assessed the previous year’s lesson plans—considering learning objectives, student engagement, encountered challenges, and lesson flexibility. This introspective process helped highlight strengths and pinpoint areas for growth. Building on these reflections, a collaborative discussion encouraged teachers to exchange effective practices and thoughtfully address areas needing refinement. Special focus was placed on strategies like gallery walks, exploring their influence on student learning and participation. Educators were also inspired to rethink their assessment approaches and infuse lessons with creativity and variety. The integration of technology emerged as a key theme, with discussions on how digital tools can be harnessed to enrich teaching and deepen student engagement. This session offered more than a review—it was a launchpad for innovation, empowering educators to evolve their instructional methods and design more meaningful learning experiences for the year ahead.
