On September 20, 2023, Grade I students gathered for another captivating read-aloud session. Together, we explored the book ‘Some Dinosaurs are Small,’ with the aim of inferring the characteristics of dinosaurs. During the session, students employed various engagement strategies, including ‘turn and talk,’ ‘showing thumbs when ready,’ and ‘gathering together,’ immersing themselves in the story’s world. Reading aloud not only enhances bonding but also nurtures a deep love for reading among our young learners.
