20th December, 2024: Igniting Patriotism: Ms. Shilpi Bhatnagar’s Inspiring Session on “Samadhi”

On 20th December, 2024, Grade VI students had the privilege of attending a special Hindi guest lecture on the poem “Samadhi,” written by the renowned poet Subhadra Kumari Chauhan. The session featured the celebrated Hindi writer and content creator Ms. Shilpi Bhatnagar, a recipient of the ‘Subhadra Kumari Chauhan Award’ and multiple accolades, with her name proudly listed in the Golden Book of World Records.Ms. Bhatnagar captivated the students with her eloquent recitation of poetry and her thought-provoking interpretation of “Samadhi,” bringing its essence to life. Her insightful lecture fostered a deep sense of patriotism and pride, inspiring students to embrace the beauty of the Hindi language and express themselves creatively.
Her engaging presence left a profound impact, with students eagerly seeking her autograph and cherishing the lessons she imparted. The session was a meaningful blend of language, culture, and national pride, resonating deeply with everyone who attended.

Praveen Raju is the founder of Suchitra Academy an International school based in Hyderabad, India. Suchitra Academy provides an integrated facility where India’s Top players like Badminton World Champion, P V Sindhu trains. Praveen is a mentor and guide to P V Sindhu. Armed with a Ph.D. in Education and three Master’s degrees, Dr. Radhika has held leadership roles across prominent institutions, including Billabong High International School and Shri Ram Universal School, where she was the founder principal. She has taught and led schools affiliated with SSC, CBSE, CISCE, and Cambridge curricula, giving her a truly diverse understanding of education systems. Dr. Radhika believes that a child thrives when education is meaningful, immersive, and connected to real-world experiences. Her work has consistently reflected her belief that “Education is the most powerful tool to shape a better, greener, and more inclusive world.” She has pioneered tech-enabled learning environments, integrated sustainability into curricula, and developed frameworks that prepare students for academic excellence. A national award-winning educator, she has been honored with the CENTA Teaching Professionals Olympiad Award, Best Techno-Resilient Principal, and Changemaker Award, among others. With dual postgraduate degrees and over 10 years of diverse professional experience, she brings a blend of passion, lifelong learning, empathy, and care to her role. Sheryle’s leadership aims to establish a strong foundation for each child’s learning, behavior, and overall well-being in the Early Years. A dedicated and skilled Early Years educator, Sheryle has undergone various training programs to enhance her expertise in Early Years education and childcare. She has been an integral part of Suchitra for the past 4 years, beginning her journey as a teacher and evolving through various roles, leading up to her current position as Head of Early Years Segment. Kamlesh Bahukhandi is a University of Delhi graduate and holds a diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education & Primary Teachers Training. She has experience of over 20 years as a progressive educator. Before joining Suchitra Academy, she worked at ASN International School (Delhi) and Delhi Public School (Hyderabad). She believes that every child deserves special care and affection to be able to spread their wings to fly and that It is the responsibility of teachers to identify the talents, skills, abilities and interest of the students and nurture them in such a way that each one of them blooms every step of their way. To add to it, she stresses the importance of parents’ involvement in their child’s lives. This is particularly critical because learning doesn’t stops at school, rather it should be seen in the continuum. And it is both the teachers and parents who can make it possible by working as collaborators.

She has been in Suchitra for the last nine years and has donned several hats from a primary teacher to Coordinator. She is currently the Head programs and School Coordinator – Academics.

She is a dynamic leader with an enduring passion to help children reach their full potential not just academically but also socially, emotionally, and physically. She enjoys working with children of all ages, which makes her feel young and energetic. It taught her patience, compassion, sincerity, and open-mindedness. She believes every child is unique, and there is so much to facilitate them, which keeps her excited to give her best. Her core strengths lie in being a team worker and sharing strategies to cater to every student’s needs.

She is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the events and programs pertaining to the whole school within the spirit of the school‘s Mission Statement.
