On 20th April, 2023, to help the students adopt the right mindset, a guest speaker session “How to overcome a stereotypical mindset?” by Dr. George Reddy, consultant psychiatrist at Healthy Brain Clinic & Hospital, was organized for the students of Grade VII. The students were introduced to different perspectives we have about a particular religion, profession or gender. The speaker provided information about the types of stereotypes that exist in the society, their causes and the consequences of having a stereotypical mindset. Overall, it was an extremely informative session for the students, which gave them an insight into various strategies to overcome stereotypical mindsets.
