Reading aloud provides students with a shared context from which lively classroom discussions can develop. Teachers provide students with conversation starters or sentence frames to get the ball rolling. In the week of 20th-23rd December 2021, children enjoyed listening to stories by applying the strategy I See/Think/ Wonder for the cover page. They came up with predictions about the end of the story and were delighted to hear the different ideas shared by their peers!
