On 1st August 2023, the Department of Physics organized a guest lecture on ‘Electric Vehicles’. Mr.Kanala Srinivas Praanesh, M.Tech student from the National Institute of Technology delivered the talk. The session emphasized the development of electric vehicles from the 19th Century to the present era, the types of EVs, the benefits of EV in general and to the environment in particular and also the impediments for their growth. The talk highlighted the career opportunities in this emerging technology. Students were interactive during the session and also sought answers to various questions on EV technology.
