Day 1: We kicked off by explaining gratitude’s importance and benefits to students. They started reflecting on their lives and contributing to a “gratitude jar” daily.
Day 2: Grades 1-10 embarked on “Gratitude Mapping,” creating visual expressions of their blessings, promoting mindfulness and well-being.
Day 3: Tears of joy flowed with a “Celebrating Our Superheroes” video from parents! Students also held a special thank-you session for the kitchen staff, fostering respect and appreciation. They even designed ways to manage noise levels in the lunch hall, building social skills and empathy.
Day 4: Grades 11-12 put their skills to work by “Adopting a Support Staff Member and Creating a Resume,” boosting practical skills and community spirit.
Staff Appreciation: Staff members participated in “Honoring Hearts,” expressing gratitude for special individuals within the school.
Gratitude Parade and Beyond: The week culminated in a vibrant “Gratitude Parade,” spreading joy and appreciation, followed by a touching “I love you” video for parents.
A Heartfelt Thank You:
The Head of Special Projects shared a thank-you note and feedback form with everyone involved. This marked the end of a truly enriching journey of cultivating grateful hearts throughout our school community.
