On 19th June , our enthusiastic Grade IV students embarked on an exciting science lab exploration to answer a thought-provoking question: How can we use scientific inquiry to understand the natural world?
Working in small teams, students collected two water samples—pond water and clean tap water—and examined them under microscopes. Their eyes lit up as the pond water revealed a bustling world of tiny organisms and particles, while the tap water remained crystal clear.
This hands-on investigation gave students a new appreciation for the value of clean water, the power of scientific tools, and led to meaningful conversations about pollution, hygiene, and our role in protecting the environment.
The collaborative lab session not only sharpened their observation and inquiry skills, but also demonstrated how science can help solve real-world problems—making learning both exciting and impactful.
