On Wednesday, June 19th, 2024, the nursery class experienced some amazing literacy adventures. The focus was on revisiting phonic sounds and integrating fine and gross motor activities to keep learning fun and engaging for the little ones. For fine motor skills, the children created letters with Play-Dough, solved letter puzzles, participated in tearing and pasting, and did finger printing on letters. For gross motor activities, they navigated a letter maze, took part in a phonic hunt, and played letter hopscotch. This dynamic combination of phonics practice and interactive activities nurtures a love of learning and helps the children develop essential early literacy skills.
