A field trip is a great way to engage students in the concepts they are learning. To teach the basics of Indian farming and modern ways, the school arranged a field trip to Gromor Plant Nursery on 19th December, 2022 for the students of Grade VIII. Students were avid to learn about the various modern farming techniques used in India. They learned about:
1. Different conditions like soil, temperature and water affect the growth of different types of plants.
2. Modern techniques like grafting and bonsai.
3. Care to be taken for cacti, succulents, and other exotic varieties.
The site-specific field trip was a great way for the students to learn and apply their newfound knowledge in the real world.
