Our Jr. KG students on July 18th embarked on a wild adventure through the Animal World IEYC unit. They had been busy creating their own animal kingdom with fun crafts. Toilet rolls transformed into adorable giraffes, completed with colourful spots and long necks. Elephant faces came to life through tracing and coloring, enhancing the students’ fine motor skills and attention to detail. These creative activities spark curiosity and imagination in our young learners.
Manjeet has over 14 years of experience working in the field of teaching and administration. She has done her master’s in Finance from Kakatiya University. She has been in Suchitra for the last nine years and has donned several hats from a primary teacher to Coordinator. She is currently the Head programs and School Coordinator – Academics.
She is a dynamic leader with an enduring passion to help children reach their full potential not just academically but also socially, emotionally, and physically. She enjoys working with children of all ages, which makes her feel young and energetic. It taught her patience, compassion, sincerity, and open-mindedness. She believes every child is unique, and there is so much to facilitate them, which keeps her excited to give her best. Her core strengths lie in being a team worker and sharing strategies to cater to every student’s needs.
She is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the events and programs pertaining to the whole school within the spirit of the school‘s Mission Statement. She provides strategic direction and promotes the aims of the school through the implementation of school policies. She assists in securing and maintaining an excellent benchmark of quality programs for all students and in ensuring high standards of goal-oriented programs in the school.
Poonam Chauhan finds true happiness in bringing smiles to others’ faces—whether through interactions, cultural exchanges, or simply by spreading positivity wherever she goes. Connecting with people and sharing moments of joy are the cornerstones of her journey.
With 20 years of experience in the field of education, Poonam has been promoted to various designations, including Primary Coordinator and Head Activities. For the past 13 years, she has been a strong pillar of Suchitra Academy, contributing significantly since its first year.
As the Head Special Projects, liaisoning with International Schools, Poonam excels in fostering global connections and organizing engaging cross-cultural activities for students, staff, and parents. She believes that exchange programs are crucial for the holistic development of children, offering them invaluable opportunities to broaden their horizons, embrace diversity, and develop a global perspective essential in today’s interconnected world. Her dedication to creating transformative experiences and maintaining partnerships with international institutions promotes global citizenship.
