Suchitra Academy was abuzz with energy and enthusiasm on 17th June 2025 as we proudly hosted the Regional Round of the prestigious IEEE YESIST12 – 2025 competition. Centered around the theme of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the event sparked a wave of creativity and innovation among young minds, inspiring real-world, solution-driven ideas.
A total of 15 dynamic teams participated in the event – 9 from Suchitra Academy and 6 from reputed schools across the city, including St. Michael’s and Sadhu Vaswani. The atmosphere was electric as students showcased their projects, each demonstrating a deep understanding of global sustainability challenges and a commitment to meaningful change.After an engaging and impactful showcase, three teams emerged as winners, their projects standing out for their technical brilliance, creativity, and vision for a sustainable future.The event was not just a competition, but a celebration of collaborative learning, critical thinking, and the transformative power of innovation and technology. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the participants and a special applause to the winning teams for their outstanding achievement and reaching the Grand Finals at an International platform to be held at Malaysia in the month of August.
