On Thursday, 17th April, 2025, just before the DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) session, two passionate readers from Grade XI A—Anisha Chakrabarti and Anshuman Nanda—took the spotlight to share reviews of books that recently captivated their hearts and minds.Anisha spoke about Powerless by Lauren Roberts, a gripping YA fantasy set in the kingdom of Ilya. She highlighted the compelling journey of Paedyn Gray, an Ordinary pretending to be a psychic, who is thrown into the perilous Purging Trials after saving Prince Kai Azer. Anisha praised the book for its intense plot, complex characters, and the powerful dynamic between hidden strength and raw power—highly recommending it to fantasy enthusiasts.Anshuman shared his thoughts on The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, a heartfelt coming-of-age story about Charlie’s emotional journey through adolescence. He admired the book for its honesty, depth, and relevance to teenage life.Their insightful presentations reminded everyone of the magic of books and the inspiration they bring. We look forward to more such moments that spark curiosity and celebrate the reader in every student.

She has taught and led schools affiliated with SSC, CBSE, CISCE, and Cambridge curricula, giving her a truly diverse understanding of education systems. Dr. Radhika believes that a child thrives when education is meaningful, immersive, and connected to real-world experiences. Her work has consistently reflected her belief that “Education is the most powerful tool to shape a better, greener, and more inclusive world.” She has pioneered tech-enabled learning environments, integrated sustainability into curricula, and developed frameworks that prepare students for academic excellence. With dual postgraduate degrees and over 10 years of diverse professional experience, she brings a blend of passion, lifelong learning, empathy, and care to her role. Sheryle’s leadership aims to establish a strong foundation for each child’s learning, behavior, and overall well-being in the Early Years. A dedicated and skilled Early Years educator, Sheryle has undergone various training programs to enhance her expertise in Early Years education and childcare. She has been an integral part of Suchitra for the past 4 years, beginning her journey as a teacher and evolving through various roles, leading up to her current position as Head of Early Years Segment. Kamlesh Bahukhandi is a University of Delhi graduate and holds a diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education & Primary Teachers Training. She has experience of over 20 years as a progressive educator. Before joining Suchitra Academy, she worked at ASN International School (Delhi) and Delhi Public School (Hyderabad). She believes that every child deserves special care and affection to be able to spread their wings to fly and that It is the responsibility of teachers to identify the talents, skills, abilities and interest of the students and nurture them in such a way that each one of them blooms every step of their way. To add to it, she stresses the importance of parents’ involvement in their child’s lives. This is particularly critical because learning doesn’t stops at school, rather it should be seen in the continuum. And it is both the teachers and parents who can make it possible by working as collaborators.

She has been in Suchitra for the last nine years and has donned several hats from a primary teacher to Coordinator. She is currently the Head programs and School Coordinator – Academics.

She is a dynamic leader with an enduring passion to help children reach their full potential not just academically but also socially, emotionally, and physically. She enjoys working with children of all ages, which makes her feel young and energetic. It taught her patience, compassion, sincerity, and open-mindedness. She believes every child is unique, and there is so much to facilitate them, which keeps her excited to give her best. Her core strengths lie in being a team worker and sharing strategies to cater to every student’s needs.

She is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the events and programs pertaining to the whole school within the spirit of the school‘s Mission Statement.
