On 16th October, our Grade I students dove into the world of verbs with a special focus on “is,” “am,” and “are.” These essential verbs help describe people, places, and things, forming the backbone of many sentences! Each student created sentences using “is,” “am,” and “are” and added their illustrations, bringing their words to life. We also compiled everyone’s work on a large chart, providing a colorful display of how these verbs are used accurately. The learning didn’t stop there – students enjoyed fun, interactive matching games, where they practiced pairing subjects with the correct verbs. This engaging activity reinforced their understanding in a lively and memorable way, making grammar both enjoyable and meaningful. The session was not only educational but also a blast for all involved.
