On 16th June 2025, Stage 1B turned their classroom into a stage of expressions with an exciting activity on Feelings and Emotions as part of their Well-being lessons. With giggles and playful drama, students froze like statues to show emotions such as “happy,” “sad,” and “angry,” bringing each feeling to life through facial expressions and body language. This interactive approach helped them better understand how emotions can be seen and felt by others.
Next, they became little artists, drawing faces representing their chosen emotions and eagerly sharing real moments when they experienced those feelings. This sharing encouraged empathy and helped build a supportive classroom community. The room buzzed with laughter, thoughtful conversations, and growing self-awareness as these young stars learned to recognize and express their emotions with joy and confidence.
To wrap up, students discussed simple ways to manage difficult emotions, such as taking deep breaths or talking to a trusted adult, equipping them with valuable tools for emotional wellbeing. The activity not only fostered emotional literacy but also strengthened friendships as children listened and supported one another.
