The theme of the 75th Independence Day this year is ‘Nation First, Always First’ to honour the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters for the nation. Every year our school celebrates this day with respect, but this year it was a celebration with a difference. Independence Day was celebrated in a new way. Grades I -III/Stages 1 to 3 celebrated Independence Day virtually on 13th August 2021. The kids and teachers displayed their love for their country by dressing in saffron, white, green, and blue. The kids showed their patriotism by making flags with crepe papers, singing songs, and reciting patriotic poems. Teachers shared with kids what the flag represents and the relevance of freedom. Independence Day was used as the perfect opportunity to impart knowledge about our country in a fun way.
