On12th December, assemblies were held for Grades VIII to XI to raise awareness about online safety. The session, led by Ms. Nivedita Kumar and Mr. Tanay Singh, delved into the importance of safeguarding digital presence on popular platforms like WhatsApp and Instagram.The speakers highlighted key safety measures, including enabling two-step verification, adjusting privacy settings, and reporting or blocking suspicious contacts. Students were also advised to exercise caution when interacting with unknown links or messages to prevent phishing scams and malware attacks. On Instagram, students were encouraged to maintain private accounts and be mindful of their digital footprint.Ms. Madhu Manju further emphasized the school’s IT policy, outlining acceptable use of technology and the consequences of policy violations, including cyberbullying. The session aimed to foster a responsible and positive digital environment.By equipping students with the necessary knowledge and tools, the school strives to empower them to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
