The Independence of India was one of the key moments in shaping the history of our country. Keeping the core values of our school in mind, the theme for the special assembly on August 12th, 2022 by Grades VIII C and VIII D was “The Celebration of Freedom”. The program began with an introduction that emphasized the value of freedom, followed by a song that depicted the passion, zeal, and enthusiasm of the Indian people for freedom. The NCC cadets took part in the rally marching to the song sung by the students that depicted unity for the country and symbolized how glorious the freedom movement was. The students also enacted monologues that focused on freedom and how it was achieved. Lastly, to honor the defense forces of our country the students performed a patriotic dance and concluded the assembly with the true essence of ‘Service Before Self’.
