A shelter in order to become a cosy home must be constructed according to our needs and the environment around us. The students of Grade V had a guest speaker session on 12th August, 2022 which was conducted as a part of PBL inquiry “What does it take to make or break a shelter?”. Our guest speaker Mr. Chandu Parimi, an Associate Professor at Birla Institute of Technology and Science , Hyderabad Campus enlightened the students about sustainable architecture which is resistant to disasters. It was an interesting session wherein he provided information about the importance of eco-friendly sustainable materials and building disaster-resistant shelters. The session was very interactive and informative. At the end of the session the students got a chance to get their queries answered.
